Písničku můžete znát už z alba Voyage z roku 2002, jen poslední dvojka přeskočila nulu. K singlu se natočilo i zbrusu nové video, kde můžete vidět kapelu v plné kráse. V klipu uvidíte i to, jak vznikal obal, resp. obraz, který malovala umělecky nadaná Rosemary na téma songu Severance. Režie, střihu a celého konceptu se ujal kytarista Stanislav Jelínek a za kamerou stál Tomáš Nechanický.
Kytarista Stanislav Jelínek k tomu dodává: „Když jsme vybírali songy, které budeme hrát na výročním koncertě ke 20 letům kapely, došlo i na Severance. Song nás začal strašně bavit hrát a my si řekli proč ho neobléct do nového kabátu a nahrát ve studiu. Později vznikla i myšlenka natočit video“.
Bicí se natáčeli ve studiu Svárov, ostatní nástroje a zpěv v šumperském nově zařízeném Black Chamber Studio, jehož vlastníkem je Dušan „Miky“ Mikulec, který s Dying Passion natočil jakožto kytarista alba Transient a Amplify. O mix se postaral Martin „ Spacosh“ Peřina a masteringu se ujal Matouš Godík.
